Saudi FM meets senior officials during visit to Bulgaria

RIYADH: Bulgarian President Rumen Radev received Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan during his visit to the capital, Sofia, the Kingdom’s foreign ministry said on Thursday.
Prince Faisal conveyed greetings from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Bulgarian government and people.
During the meeting, which was held at the Bulgarian presidential residence, they reviewed relations between the two countries and discussed strengthening aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields and ways to support and develop them.
The two sides discussed ways to consolidate the economic partnership between the two countries in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, intensify cooperation in the political and economic fields, and support all efforts aimed at strengthening international peace and security.
They also held talks on regional and international developments.
Prince Faisal also met with Prime minister Kiril Petkov, his Bulgarian counterpart Teodora Genchovska, and Speaker of the National Assembly Nikola Minchev during his visit.
