RIYADH, 12 September 2003 — Abel “PSY” Carreon (Trane) and Ador Aguinaldo (KKIA) led their respective team during game 2 of the best-of-three series, championship round of the Filipino Community Basketball League (FCBL) at the Eid Contracting Compound, Exit 12 Riyadh.

The Trane squad clearly sent the message to the KKIA cagers that a decider was in the cards early in the game with Abel Carreon, Peter Hernando, Noel Ramos, Jeff Salac, and Fred Badawi making sure that there would be no repeat of the unfavorable scenario of game one where they managed to lead by 25 points only to find themselves at the losing end.

KKIA’s five Nestor Alforque, Ador Aguinaldo, Allain Catalan, Roy Fernandez and Jun Gantan with Michael Constantino, Orr Dilao and Ariel Zabala did try hard to take the game to Trane, but the latter rung the curtain down at 92-81.

The Scores:

Trane (92) - Carreon Abel 21, Hernando Peter 20, Salac Jeff 20, Ramos Noel 14, Fabro Angel 9, Palmero Aries 4, Carreon Reden 3, and Badawi Fred 1 beat KKIA (81) - Aguinaldo Ador 14, Alforque Nestor 14, Catalan Allain 13, Hadlocon Richard 11, Fernandez Roy 8, Gantan Jun 8, Zabala Ariel 4, Constantino Michael 4, Dilao Orr 3, and Santiago Julius 2. Referees: Nestor Carlos and Muhamamd Villamena.
