PISJ Wins Award for Outstanding SSC Results

JEDDAH, 24 January 2006 — The Pakistan International School, Jeddah, was declared the best overseas institution for its outstanding SSC exam results for the year 2005.

The school was awarded a trophy by Federal Education Minister Javed Ashraf Qazi at the 21st Medal Award Ceremony organized by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Islamabad recently. School Principal Wing Commander (retd.) Mohammad Siddiq received the award.

Mohammad Siddiq was conferred another award at the 16th Star Award ceremony also held in Islamabad. Mohammad Siddiq was selected for the award for his outstanding performance as the principal of the school.

Chairman of the South Asia Publications Syed Mohammad Mahmud gave the award. South Asia Publications was established by the government with the cooperation of Human Resources Commission to honor individuals and organizations for outstanding performance. Academics, teachers and social workers have congratulated Mohammad Siddiq on winning the two awards.
