Injazat Data Systems, a regional Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, is building a Tier IV data center in Abu Dhabi. The center will be part of Injazat’s new headquarters, with world class infrastructure serving Injazat clients, and housing Injazat staff.

Tier IV data centers have the highest performance rating compared to other data centers due to two main key elements. First, they have redundant capacity systems and multiple distribution paths simultaneously serving the site’s computer equipment. Second, all the data center’s IT equipment is dual powered and installed properly to be compatible with the topology of the site architecture.

“Critical business systems and data must be fully protected in a secure environment, and must also be readily accessible,” said Ibrahim Lari, CEO of Injazat Data Systems. “Significant data loss can occur due to a number of factors such as system failure, system corruption or natural disasters. Delivering a capability to deal with such scenarios has therefore become a prime focus for the region’s organizations, and having in place such a Tier IV data center facility is the most potent and cost-effective safeguard against loss of systems and data.”

Lari continued, “Injazat’s Tier IV data center will provide critical infrastructure to support mission critical IT applications for our clients’ businesses. The automated data back-up processes that will be put in place, will reduce the need for human intervention and potential errors and will ensure that data remains protected throughout the back-up and recovery process, thereby resulting in significant cost and time savings for our clients.”

The data center will provide clients with access through a fully-redundant IT infrastructure with 24/7 onsite security and technical support, in addition to a comprehensive range of value-added service offerings to address key IT-related tasks and ongoing activities. With 2,000 square meters of usable space, the data center will be large enough to support up to 5,000 servers and associated infrastructure. The physical facilities and premises will be monitored round the clock, by technology and professional staff.
