More than 300 chefs set the new record for hummus, which the Lebanese say is their national dish. Hundreds of Lebanese came together to produce the 10,452 kg dish on the world's largest plate in Al-Kafaat University at Al-Fanar, east of Beirut. The items used were 8,000 kg of mashed chickpeas, 2,000 liters of lemon juice, 700 liters of olive oil and 2,000 kg tahini.
