These include:  People working in private companies. If we find excuses for smaller companies who simply do not have the sufficient funds to pay two months’ salaries to their employees, what can we say about big companies with lots of funds? We can safely ask the small companies to pay what they can to their employees (not necessarily two months’ salary). They should know that charity begins at home. No matter how small the reward, it is still an expression of partnership that will definitely make the employees happy.
* Big companies and banks. There is no excuse for the telecommunication companies, publicly traded companies and media companies to delay paying their employees the bonus of two months’ salary. This is the minimum that they can do for this country. Moreover, the country is looking for their participation in promoting social responsibility. They have to participate in social development. This would not only be beneficial to society but also to the public images of these companies.
* Retirees who are covered by the General Organization for Social Security (GOSI). They fall in two categories: the government retirees, who have already been paid and the retirees in the private sector who are still waiting to be paid. A courageous decision must be taken to pay them as well.
* GOSI should also solve the problems of employees whose government establishments have been privatized, including the Saudi Telecom Co. (STC).
Lastly, we stand up in respect and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah who restored to the government sector its position in the labor market. The migration has been reversed now with people going from the private sector to the public sector. His decisions have also increased competitiveness. Now many private companies have increased their salaries.
