The election took place during a meeting of the organization's general assembly, which also selected Nazir Mohammed and Mohammed Redwan as joint secretaries. Twenty executive members were also named during the meeting.
"One of the main objectives of the alumni is to help the needy and poor students currently studying at Farook College by providing them with necessary assistance," said Ibrahim.
It also provides Farook College students a forum to join together to work for the educational and social uplift of the community.
