27-year-old Bader Saleh adds to our smiles with pleasure. Born and raised in Jeddah, his socialistic view has him spinning roars of laughter with his YouTube sensation, “Eysh Elly.” With just four videos on YouTube, Saleh has 12,000 subscriptions and over 656,962 views (and counting)!
Away from the stupor of hard and retro metropolitan lives, he seems poignant in his quest to "drawing a smile on everybody's face" with his comedy and heart-filled jokes. In this exclusive interview with Arab News, Saleh speaks publicly for the first time and gets personal.

I am still studying Marketing at AOU and am a Subscription Executive at Design Magazine. I gained most of my talents through socializing with different types of people. A year ago, comedy was just a fantasy for me.

The idea of the show wasn't mine. The production house already had the idea, but they were searching for the right guy, so I started depending on myself, choosing materials for the first two episodes. As for now, it is mostly fan based.

My show is more like the YouTube police, commenting on and criticizing the silly videos on YouTube. I started to do it for fun, but now, I’m pretty much serious about it.

You can always do so whenever you're feeling down.

Family and close friends inspire me the most, not to mention Jeddah's multiracial humor, which is a huge part of my personality.

I found myself drawing a smile on everybody's face since youth. I knew back then that I might fit in comedy.

Sure enough, it is a rising movement led by young talented local comedians, and it has already accomplished so much so far.

To be a big part in this new growing comedy movement, make my family proud of me and get married, Insha Allah.

For as far as the positive feedback keeps going and as long as the silly videos keep streaming.

Due to a couple of copyright issues, the first episode had to be off the channel for a while. However, by the magic of negotiation, we managed to bring it back to the viewers.

Pretty much yes, but in some Middle Eastern regions, they still have a long way to comprehend the idea.

I've received a couple of opportunities to make live shows, but I'm not sure I'm ready for the crowd yet. Insha Allah I will be able to do it soon enough.

Locally, Adel Imam; globally, Chris Rock

Soccer and video games — these two interests never changed since childhood.

Motivates me is more like it, and the response is beyhond my expectations, Alhamdulelah.
