Man knifes sister-in-law to death

JEDDAH: A man has confessed to killing his sister-in-law with a kitchen knife because she wanted him to leave her house and find other accommodation, according to the police here.
The man, who is married to the victim’s sister, initially denied he had anything to do with the murder of the Somali woman, but under pressure from detectives eventually admitted to the gruesome killing in Bani Malek neighborhood, a media report quoted the police as saying.
The husband of the victim had reported to the police that he had found his wife at home with stab wounds. After the area was cordoned off, detectives became suspicious when they could not find the brother-in-law of the victim.
When the man did eventually turn up, he claimed that he had been out looking for alternative accommodation. However, he later confessed that he had differences with the victim and had killed her in anger after being evicted from the home.
