Uri Avnery is perhaps one of those writers whose integrity and objective approach can never be questioned as evident from his interesting write-up “What’s wrong with Netanyahu?” (Oct. 31). In the article, he has brilliantly rubbished his own Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claims about the Holocaust. This is what journalism is all about. Without objectivity, there is no point in writing or reporting. If one does not have the courage to call a spade a spade, then such a person should never take to writing or become a journalist.

I am an avid reader (I presume) and try to follow various regional and international writers but such bold stance is seldom taken even by some big names in the profession.
