This is with reference to the report “IS, Taleban ‘pairing up in Afghanistan’” (May 9). I think the Afghan authorities should move swiftly to reach a deal with Taleban before the horrible IS gets hold of them. There is a great need to adopt a political approach to this issue. If these two forces join hands, it would spell disaster for South Asia.
