The brutal terrorist organization, Daesh, has claimed responsibility for yet another dastardly attack. This time around Cairo was targeted.

These terrorist organizations are wreaking havoc on the Muslim world. It is very disturbing to note that they are operating in the name of Islam. The recent attack on a university in Pakistan is condemnable and those who perpetrated this attack have nothing to do with Islam, a religion that has a strict code of conduct even in the war zone.

Islam does not allow attacking non-combatants, women, children, the elderly and monks. These terror outfits, Daesh, Boko Haram, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Al-Qaeda etc. are primarily targeting non-combatants. This approach shows that they have some different agenda. It seems all these activities are part of a plan to keep Muslim countries busy in other issues and they forget about the core problem that is responsible for the mess in the Arab world i.e. Israeli occupation of Palestine. Due to the preoccupation of the Muslim world with the issue of terrorism, Israel is having a field day and it is expediting its efforts to usurp Palestinian lands. The international community’s deafening silence over Israeli atrocities against Palestinians is worrisome.
