A few months ago various media outlets reported an incident that took place in Israel. According to reports, an Israeli security guard shot dead a Jew at the Western Wall in Jerusalem for chanting “Allahu Akbar” meaning “Allah is the Greatest.” The security man mistook him for a Muslim-Arab militant.

Unfortunately, terrorists, who claim to be the custodians of faith all across the world, are overly misusing this glorifying phrase.

During our childhood we normally used to hear these beautiful and holy words during Adhan or while slaughtering an animal but now these words are frequently uttered while killing innocent people indiscriminately to show others that they are being killed in the name of Islam. This is a gross misuse of this holy phrase.

Women who go in search of knowledge are being killed chanting the same phrase. These lunatics even reportedly chant this phrase while attacking mosques.

However, we believe, the Israeli guard wouldn’t have killed the Jewish man unless he suspected him to be a Palestinian, who used this Arabic phrase. We guess that he would have been frequently watching the Syrian war news on the TV, where every gunshot from whichever side it is fired accompanies this glorifying phrase.
