This is with reference to the report “Iran-linked spied tries to set up Shiite center in Makkah” (March 1). The Saudi authorities should take strong action against these Iranian agents and should leave no stone unturned in exposing Iran and the extent of its penetration in the Arab world. After thorough probe, the findings in the case should be effectively highlighted through the media and at key forums to let the world know the true nature of the Iranian regime, which is continuously threatening the integrity of the Arab world. Iran’s interference in the Arab world has set the region on fire. Tehran’s sectarian policies are responsible for many of the regional woes.

In addition to that human rights organizations should also make efforts to highlight the plight of minority communities living in Iran.

The United Nations should send teams to Balochistan and Sistan provinces of Iran to study the poor state of affairs in those Sunni-dominated areas, which are deprived of basic amenities.
