This is with reference to the report “Grand mufti says Daesh un-Islamic” (Nov. 7). All the terrorist organizations like Daesh, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Al-Qaeda and Boko Haram etc. are un-Islamic and have nothing to do with the pristine teachings of Islam. The actions of these wicked organizations clearly indicate that they are working against Islam and Muslims. Killing an innocent non-Muslim is nothing to be proud of. As a matter of fact, it is against Islamic injunctions to spill the blood of innocent people. I fail to understand as to how Muslims from certain western countries are flocking to join Daesh. How could they be so ignorant? Daesh is not even following the basics of Islam. It is only using Islamic terminologies to promote its selfish interests in various Muslim countries.

Islam teaches its followers to live in harmony with other people. These brutal murderers are wreaking havoc on everybody who does not adhere to their skewed interpretation of Islam. I think the best way to fight these terrorists is to form a united Muslim army. This force should wipe the Daesh and its likes from the face of the earth. I appreciate the western countries for their assistance in our fight against terror but these lunatics are using the western participation as a propaganda tool by portraying it as a war on Islam. Creation of a joint Muslim army will definitely help win this war.
