Up to 11 military planes, three civil planes and 14 ships are still searching for a plane that went down 32 days ago and has cost $44 million without any result.
The only puzzling parts of this massive aviation puzzle are that no one is able to rightly respond to the unsolved puzzles which is the most puzzling. From Day One, things have been botched up. For one, it seems very unlikely that a Triple Seven was not tracked for several hours. If it kept flying why was there no Mayday call and how come no radar spotted it or satellite tracked it. Two, none of the 100 odd pieces of debris floating in the sea have been recovered. Why not? What happened to that 75 ft long piece we saw on the grainy video and how come it was not salvaged?
There was also a news report that several pieces had been found floating in the same area. It was a story that had no follow up nor was it denied, it just disappeared.
Have you noticed how the weather always conveniently intercedes and ends the search? There have been dozens of these abortive searches.
Now the pingggggg of the Flight Recorder and the Voice Recorder are being heard but we have been told that they are on the verge of running out of battery power so be ready to be told that that avenue is closed since the signal has stopped.
You just get the feeling that no one wants it found for some reason. No agency is even asking why the cargo manifest is a secret. It is like oh well, if they don’t want to tell us, we can’t force them.
Even Boeing and the NTSB who have so much good work and skill on their investigative side have nothing to say, not even their standard statements which they put out ‘not ruling out anything.’
This is 2014. Surely, by now something would have come to the surface but the most inexplicable part of it all is that nothing ‘sighted’ by this fleet of ships and planes has been investigated or, if it has, we haven’t been told about it. The reports follow a pattern. Spotted, chased and made elusive…it has gone. On to the next clue.
