We welcome the new draft legislation against sex offenders. Such people should not be shown any mercy. So-called human rights activists might up the ante against the Kingdom over this move but the authorities should just ignore these people. These activists are yet to properly understand the concept of punishment. It serves as a deterrent and people think twice before committing any crime.

Keeping in view, the increase in gender crimes around the world, this law is a preemptive attempt on part of the Kingdom to nip the evil in the bud. It is very important to ensure protection of our womenfolk.
