Pinehill’s Indomie meets youth hopes

Pinehill Arabia Food Ltd.’s Indomie announced that it has recently trained another 100 women in Saudi Arabia who undertook an intensive training program to become part of the capable hands of Indomie’s finest national experts.
The training consisted of a one 6-month session followed by another 3-month session which included courses in English, computer and work ethics.
Successful completion of both training sessions qualified 100 of the trainees who were enrolled into the factories as full-time employees.
To highlight this aspect of Indomie’s commitment toward its nation, Abdulgader Bawazir, PR director at Indomie, said: “At Indomie, Saudization is a priority which we take very seriously. As a result, our employment initiative was born.”
Bawazir said: “In fact, 400 new Saudi nationals, both male and female, have been employed so far which not only meets but greatly satisfies the requirements of the Ministry of Labor.”
He added: “We commend the Saudi government’s efforts to expand the food industry in the Kingdom and we are grateful for the support they continue to provide us.”
He said Indomie’s growing success across the Kingdom is directly linked to the strict regulations set by the government, which Indomie aimed to respect and thus proved Indomie as capable to maintain superior product quality.
An employee, Ohoud Abdullah Al Sibai, in the production department of an Indomie factory in Dammam was one such trainee and she said: “The caliber of training was better than I expected and I have consequently entered the workforce in Indomie’s factory. I would recommend this program to any woman wanting to work in food production.”
Rana Mohammed Mejarshi agreed with Ohoud adding “our intensive English language courses helped us a lot on the factory floor.”
Indomie continues to expand its business across the Kingdom.
Indomie, a Saudi product produced on Saudi soil and by national expert hands, is becoming a much-loved brand across the country.
