MADINAH: Three people were killed and two others of different nationalities were injured Wednesday morning after their vehicle

skidded and hit a lamp post on Al-Hijra Road. This is the result of Wednesday morning’s heavy rainfall.

Security patrols went to the scene and transported the bodies to Al-Meiqat General Hospital.

“The operations room of the Saudi Red Crescent received a report at 6:52 a.m. about a vehicle that overturned and emergency teams, including air emergency, were quickly sent there,” the spokesman for the Saudi Red Crescent in Madinah, Khalid bin Musaid Al-Sahli, said.

He said the teams found two victims in critical condition and three had died on spot. They were all transported by land emergency teams.
