JEDDAH: Around 87 Nepalese workers who arrived in the Kingdom four months ago have not yet found jobs as promised by their agent back home, local media reported, quoting The Katmandu Post.

The workers have reportedly complained about their problems and want to return to Nepal if the company they were supposed to join in the Kingdom cannot provide jobs to them. The newspaper said that the company which recruited them sent them to Saudi Arabia and deceived them by saying that they would earn a good income working in a juice company, but they have no work and face many difficulties.

One of them was quoted as saying that they have asked for work and wages according to the agreement, and if they can’t get this they want to return to their country, but the company didn’t respond.

They said they agreed to a salary of SR1,300 a month, but they were given only SR700.
