A man was executed Thursday for killing a woman during a home invasion in Asir. Yasser Mahmoud Ahmed Ali Quaiza, a Yemeni, who was put to death in Khamis Mushait, was convicted of brutally beating to death his Saudi victim, Felwah Al Jarad, before stealing money and jewelry from her house.

After his arrest, he pleaded guilty to the crime.

Thursday’s execution comes after he was sentenced by the General Court. The sentence was then endorsed by the Appeal and Supreme Courts and sealed by a royal order.
