I would like to congratulate the excellent team at Arab News on the occasion of their 40th anniversary celebrations.

Since assuming my post as Singapore’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia in March 2013, I have often relied on Arab News to provide me with reliable, up-to-date and interesting pieces on Saudi Arabia’s domestic and foreign policies. Reading Arab News daily has certainly been useful in allowing me to understand the pulse of the region, and the views of its leaders and decision makers.

Given the turbulent times surrounding the Middle East, publications like Arab News will become more important as a source of relevant information and commentary.
