JEDDAH: Experts have urged the authorities concerned to take action against advertisements offering short training camps for Saudi youngsters abroad.

Advertisements in newspapers and on websites offering a 10-day training course for a fee are ambiguous and their sources are unknown, they said. “Such advertisements generally appear at the beginning of the summer vacation and are risky from the financially and security points of view,” the experts were quoted as saying by local media.

They have demanded that the Ministries of Education and Commerce and Industry protect the members of society by taking action against such offers.

The experts’ reaction follows advertisements in a number of local newspapers and websites inviting youngsters aged between 14 and 17 years to join “Training Trips” in several countries for various charges.
