BAHA: Security authorities in Baha are searching for an African expat worker who killed his brother using farm implements.

“At 12:45 on Saturday night, the Jarda bin Ali police station received a call from a citizen who said that two African brothers working on his farm had a fight and the younger beat the older brother with a spade causing serious head injuries which led to his death.”

“The offender fled across the valleys and mountains,” a spokesman for the Baha Police, Col. Saad Saleh Trad said.

“The authorities went to the scene of the crime and investigations continue as to the whereabouts of the criminal,” he added. He said the citizen who had employed the two men illegally would be dealt with according to the law.

Trad emphasized that employers must make sure they follow the laws and regulations in order to avoid punishment.
