MAKKAH: The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association has continued to offer its services to pilgrims and visitors of the Grand Mosque in cooperation with other related bodies through the Ramadan Scout Camp, since the beginning of the current month of Ramadan.
More than 1,000 scouts, rangers and leaders are participating in the camp throughout Ramadan.
The supervisor of the Scout Center in Makkah, Shaker Radin, said the center contributes with the other government agencies to serve worshipers and visitors.
“A number of 180 scouts and leaders are working closely with the police at the Grand Mosque on directing worshipers to prayer areas and to prevent them from praying in the corridors,” said the scout supervisor.
