JEDDAH: The bodies of three people have been found after a flash flood swept away their car in Sernan valley in the governorate of Adam.

The Civil Defense in Makkah found the body of a man, 85, and his daughter, two, on Tuesday. The body of the man’s wife was found the previous day in their submerged car.

Atiya Al-Ghamwi, his wife and their daughter Amina after their car was swept away by the flash flood in the valley on Monday.

Six rescue teams combed the flooded ravine before coming across the bodies. The infant was found by a local citizen two km down in the valley while the man was found about 9 km away.
