RIYADH: The Interior Ministry has warned citizens and expatriates against donating funds to unlicensed entities in violation of the Kingdom’s laws.

Any person and entity (institutions and companies) will face interrogation in case of fundraising without permit, the ministry said. It called upon citizens and expatriates to offer donations to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and Saudi National Campaign to Support Brothers in Syria.

Donations can also be given to the national charities authorized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, the spokesman added.
