Multiple individuals accused in the crane crash accident at the Grand Mosque, which resulted in 107 deaths and 238 injuries among pilgrims, will face several charges; notably the loss of lives, neglect, and non-compliance with established safety measures. Among the accused are engineers and project managers at the company responsible for implementation.

Sources noted that the public prosecutor plans to demand an increase in the defendant's punishments following the investigation and the issuance of an indictment.

Initial investigations revealed the involved implementing company did not comply with the required safety measures, especially in view of the high human density during the pilgrimage season. The investigations revealed several additional causes of the crane accident and additional names have been summoned in the case file.

Many experienced engineers, specializing in the construction business, were hired to learn more information about crane use and the required safety measures during operation.
