JEDDAH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, has assured that the best services would be provided to Umrah pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah.
He also instructed relevant authorities to take care of their safety and comfort during the pilgrimage.
The crown prince recalled that it has been the tradition in the Kingdom to offer the best services to the guests of Allah.
Arrangements have been made to receive millions of pilgrims during the holy month.
The crown prince reviewed the security plan for the Umrah season in the presence of Makkah Gov. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
“I thank and appreciate my brother, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal for his untiring efforts to serve the pilgrims, which gives a moral boost to everyone,” the crown prince said, pointing out that the Almighty has bestowed the blessed opportunity for the people to serve the guests of Allah, who come to this holy land, thereby serving Islam and the Muslims who come from various parts of the globe.

Brig. Abdullah Al-Ghafis, commander of the special forces for security of Haj and Umrah, said that 4,000 security personnel with 50 officials were being deployed in the Grand Mosque.
The contingent includes 1,000 security personnel, with excellent proficiency in four languages, who will help pilgrims and visitors in the mataf area of the Kaaba during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
“These security personnel, with blue ribbons on their chests, will speak English, French, Persian and Urdu,” Al-Ghafis said.
