JEDDAH: A Saudi doctor was killed recently along with two of his children and a fourth person in a traffic accident on the new road linking a number of provinces with Samtah in the Jazan region.

The doctor, Abdul Latif Mohammed Mahdi, an employee at Health Department in Jazan, had left his house with two of his children, three years old and four years old, to buy some items for his home when the incident occurred Wednesday.

Two others people were seriously injured in the crash and were transferred to King Fahd Central Hospital in Jazan.

Ambulances from the Red Crescent and members of the Civil Defense rushed to the site of the accident to transfer the bodies of the victims and the injured to hospital.
