RIYADH: The General Directorate of Health Affairs in the Riyadh Province has ordered the temporary closure of eight optical centers in the city due to their violation of health regulations.

The action followed a report from ministry inspectors who had visited the optical centers and noticed the violations which included work without medical permits, expired permits or the employment of unlicensed cadres.

The closure aims to ensure the safety of patients and the quality of services provided to them, the ministry's announcement said.
