RIYADH: Abdul Rahman Al-Zamil, president of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), will inaugurate the First Elevators and Escalators Exhibition in Riyadh this month.

“The exhibition is regarded as an important event as almost all local companies, malls and hotels have elevators and escalators,” said Mohsin Shaikh Al-Hassan, spokesman of an organizing company.

He said that the importance of the event lies in the fact that hundreds of thousands of residents in the Kingdom use elevators and escalators daily.

Al-Hassan said that a total of 50 local and foreign firms are expected to attend the event.

“The exhibition, which will be held at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center, will showcase the major names in the industry including firms from the US, Europe and Asia, allowing the local and foreign companies to boost business in the Kingdom,” he added.
