RIYADH: Aspire Productions, a group in Riyadh that aims to epitomize event management by breaking the shackles of community specific events, hosted “Summer Splash 2016,” one of its kind event constituting people from multi-ethnic backgrounds and all walks of life, to make the weekend eventful and enjoyable.
The event, which was organized last week, was intellectualized and successfully presented as a cultural festival that included solo singing, live concerts, individual performances and a dance tribute “Arabian Jackson” to Michael Jackson by Mohib Khan of “The Khalli Walli Show” (TKWS).
The program included Ahmed Hussain, Hasan Nawaz Khan, Tuba Khan, Ayesha Siddiqa and Farhan Shahzad.
A large number of Pakistanis, Indians, Arabs and Filipinos attended the cultural evening, which included food and beverage stalls according to their ethnic taste and food culture, besides stalls of jewelry, clothing and others.
The main attractions were the performers who had lined up to allure the crowd with their specific sets of artistic skills.
The stage activities kicked off with a bang courtesy to a fiery performance from Naffay Hussain and Sajin Nishan, who set the tone for an adrenaline-charged evening.
The torch was then passed on to Omair Shaikh and AMP, RJ Fawad, who carried it to perfection and ensured that the attendees swayed to the tunes until the very end.
The principal performers for the evening were Mohib Khan (The Arabian Jackson), Ali Hashmi and AMP and Khalid Abbasi while DJ UK Usama Khan provided quality sound system.
The volunteers of the event included Faisal Iqbal Bajwa, Neelam Rehman and Saud Randhava, who played an integral role.
Hammad Abid, community welfare attache at the Pakistan Embassy, also attended the event.
