JUBAIL: The Social Services Department at the Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) organized a youth forum, “Shabab Sa7,” at the Youth Beach Park in the Jubail Industrial City, to promote local tourism in the city, from April 13-18.

The five-day event attracted about 30,600 visitors and participants, and its sales exceeded SR72,000.

The event aimed to display the talents and hobbies of Jubail youths through the various programs and activities that were selected to attract all age groups of citizens and visitors. The forum’s theater hosted poets, singers and marine shows, with the participation of the Jubail Marine Sports Club.

The RCJ’s health services participated in the forum through providing a specialized anti-smoking clinic, along with a team for first aid and health education.

Meanwhile, more than 26 volunteers from the Jubail Volunteering Club (JVC) also participated in the event with 1,040 volunteering hours, providing various services such as organizing participating teams and traffic movement in the forum’s external arenas, receiving visitors, and distributing soft drinks for visitors and participants. Additionally, they set up an emergency plan to be implemented in case of disaster.

The RCJ’s organization for the event comes within the framework of its role in meeting the interests of all segments of society on through its social responsibility programs.
