MAKKAH: Four people were killed in a collision between two cars on the Makkah-Lieth road on Sunday. One of the victims was charred as flames engulfed the car after the crash.

One of the victims died while being transported to the Noor Speciality Hospital by a team of the Red Crescent, Makkah branch.

Red Crescent spokesman Abdulaziz Badamoan said the operations room received a call at noon from a citizen about the accident and a team, including an air ambulance, was immediately sent to the scene.

He said three people were already when the team reached the spot, while the fourth one died on the way to hospital.
