RIYADH: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has started distributing Haj guidebooks in 30 languages to pilgrims at all the country’s entry points, in a bid to ensure Hajis perform their rituals properly.

Musaed bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, undersecretary for publications and research at the ministry, said the first set of the books were distributed to Hajis as they arrived.

The books are being distributed in three stages. The first stage would be completed before the Day of Arafah. The second would see them handed out at the holy sites, while the third stage would be just before pilgrims leave for their home countries.
