RIYADH: The customs at King Fahd Causeway foiled Tuesday an attempt to smuggle a foreign girl into Saudi Arabia from Bahrain.

Daifallah Al-Otaibi, customs director at King Fahd Causeway, said: “A vehicle came early Tuesday morning to the customs. Officers found a girl from a foreign nationality hidden behind the driver’s seat near the rear floor, covered with clothes for the purpose of camouflage."

While briefing the media about the incident, Al-Otaibi stressed the efforts exerted by Saudi Customs to prevent the entry of all items that violate the regulations, as well as the entry of people illegally.
