JEDDAH: Several issues pertaining to the grain market were discussed at a meeting organized by the 41st International Grains Council (IGC) in Riyadh recently.

The meeting was chaired by IGC President Abdul Rahman bin Saleh Al-Rwaita, who is also the acting director-general of Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization (GSFMO).

Several issues, particularly the situation of grain and rice markets in the world, policies relating to trade and the latest developments in the information system for agricultural markets were discussed.
