MADINAH: Turkish pilgrim Yorizek Anwar expressed his thanks to God for making his Haj rituals a success and enabling him to visit the Prophet’s mosque. He was also impressed by the services offered to pilgrims at the holy sites in the Kingdom.

Anwar told Arab News that he offered prayers at the Prophet’s mosque. “It was a huge honor to send salutations to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him,” he said.

“I also visited the Islamic and historical sites in Madinah such as Quba Masjid and Masjide Qiblatain,” he said.

Anwar said he bought dates, carpets, rosaries, rugs and copies of the Holy Qur’an. The trip cost him around $14,000, he said.
