Prince Mohammed bin Nasser, Governor of Jazan, has visited a hospital where a fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Prince Muhammad inspected the scene of the blaze, where 24 people lost their lives. The fire started in the intensive care unit of the Jazan General hospital before Civil Defense personnel dealt with the massive flames on one of the upper floors of the hospital. Prince Mohammed ordered an immediate investigation into the cause of the fire.

Jazan General is an important hospital in the heart of the city.
