RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman arrived in Riyadh on Wednesday from Jeddah after more than four months away from the capital.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said the king was welcomed at the King Khalid International Airport by Prince Faisal bin Bandar, governor of Riyadh region; Prince Sultan bin Salman, chief of General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage; Prince Naif bin Salman, and Prince Rakan bin Salman.
At the royal hall, he was met by other princes and high officials, including the governor Al-Jawf and Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, minister of National Guard; and Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
He was earlier seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, adviser to the king and governor of Makkah region; Prince Mishaal bin Majed, governor of Jeddah; along with a number of princes, ministers and officials.
The king was accompanied by a number of princes and officials.
King Salman arrived in Jeddah from Riyadh on May 9, 2016. On June 24, he went to Makkah to spend the last 10 days of Ramadan, after which he returned to Jeddah. On July 15, he went to Morocco on a private visit and returned to Jeddah on August 14.
