RIYADH: King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue (KACND) hosted here a special training program on “development of communication skills in dialogue and coexistence” for 54 scholars from 43 African countries.
According to the organizer, the initiative was within the framework of the organization’s efforts to promote a culture of dialogue at the Pan-African level. It took place as part of the ongoing cooperation with the African Islamic Da’wah Centers that include senior preachers, intellectuals and writers involved in addressing intellectual security on the African continent.
In a related development, within the partnership between the KACND and the African Islamic Committee, a number of awareness meetings and training programs have been organized by the center during the month of Ramadan for three consecutive years. It targets representatives of 43 African countries.
In addition to the center’s initiative, they have also conducted training courses for radio stations owners who broadcast the Haj season.
“It is worth mentioning that KACND continues its partnership and networking with the commission of African advocacy training to achieve the vision of the center, outside the borders of the homeland, that includes opening up more prospects to communicate with one another,” the statement concluded.
