MAKKAH: Foreign exchange experts suggest that foreign exchange circulation during Ramadan will be around SR500 million through 32 shops in the Makkah central area and the Al-Aziziya neighborhood.
Foreign exchange circulation through Makkah offices in the first half of this year was SR1,261,648,000.
The dollar is the top currency for exchange followed by the Egyptian pound.
Muslih Aljumai, who has been in this business for decades, confirmed that the dollar was the top the currency for exchange against the riyal because of its stability in many countries, especially those witnessing political and economic turmoil.
