RIYADH: As part of her solo flight adventure from Britain to Australia, self-styled ‘Bird in a Biplane’ Tracey Curtis-Taylor arrived in Saudi Arabia, this week.
Curtis-Taylor, who is making the thrilling 13,000-mile flight, visited the Riyadh Aviation Club at Thumamah in the capital, on Wednesday.
Arab News met her on Friday and viewed the stunning 1942 Boeing Stearman Spirit of Artemis aircraft. She has already made five refueling stops in the vintage open cockpit biplane in Jouf, Hail, Riyadh and Al-Ahsa.
