JEDDAH: The Jeddah-based North Indian Fraternity Forum (NIFF) organized a humorous speech competition for youngsters on Jan. 22.

NIFF General Secretary Khwaja Nasir Jamal said the event marked a new chapter of a youth leadership program in NIFF.

The contest was described as an effort to create opportunities for youngsters to express themselves in a way different from the conventional style of speeches.

The parents and children participated in the event. The humorous topics were: “Aur manzar badal gaya,” “Ab tera kya hoga, Kaaliya?” and “Bandar kya jaaney adrak ka mazaa.”

The first three winners in the junior category were Eshan Singh, Areej Arshad and Aamna Adil.

The first two winners in the senior category were Pritpal Kaur and Alqab Arshad.
