AL-AHSA: About 50 paintings by Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Maghlouth, a well-known artist, are included in the gallery hosted at Al-Rashed Town Square Mall in Al-Ahsa.

Al-Ahsa Mayor Adel Al-Mulhim and Al-Ahsa Chamber Chairman Saleh Al-Afaleq opened the exhibition in the presence of artists and journalists.

Al-Maghlouth said: “This event aims at spreading the culture of beauty in society, emphasizing the richness of the Saudi community in all aspects, and expressing my great love for the homeland.”

On his painting named “In the bosom of the nation,” Al-Maghlouth said that it embodies the intimacy of society and includes different yarn colors to symbolize the multiplicity of colors and doctrines of Saudi society.

Al-Maghlouth’s paintings reflect the history of Al-Ahsa oasis, including Jabl Al-Qarah, water springs, Al-Uqair beach, traditional games, as well as folk handicrafts.

The painting that attracted a large number of the exhibition’s visitors embodies Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman in a moment of supplication to Allah.

Speaking about this painting, Al-Maghlouth said it carries a deep symbolic and clear message expressing King Salman’s care for the country, its stability and security.

Al-Maghlouth said he has allocated 20 percent of the exhibition’s proceeds to the Cancer Society in Al-Ahsa.
