JEDDAH: The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) announced the implementation of SR200 million in projects in Najran.
TVTC Gov. Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid said TVTC is taking into account the needs of the region’s labor market to enable graduates to get suitable job opportunities, by linking them with TVTC to fulfill all the needs of the labor market and the business sector in Najran.
The projects implemented are housing for the Girls College in Najran; establishment of an industrial institute in the province; technical college for girls; the multipurpose hall at the Technical College for Boys in Najran; and a workshop for mechanical training.
Al-Fuhaid also emphasized the corporation’s full support for voluntary work and assured full cooperation and support of maintenance work for voluntary organizations in Najran which are working with families with limited income in the city. TVTC has offered a professional team of volunteers to offer technical services for the homes of needy families in the region.
He stressed the importance of spreading the culture of social responsibility and volunteerism among employees, trainees and the community.
He also said that TVTC will not hesitate to provide all types support to brave heroes of the country at the border, who are providing security for the people of the region.
“The foundation inspires its employees, through the implementation of voluntary programs, throughout the year, so they serve the community and society as volunteers, and fix the problems of homes for the less fortunate and mosques, and participate in voluntary services during Haj and Umrah seasons,” he said.
He said TVTC organizes volunteer work programs in colleges and technical institutes to encourage trainees to participate in volunteer work for the dissemination of a culture of volunteering in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
