JEDDAH: The Pakistani Consulate in Jeddah had to shut down its passport section due to heavy rain on Tuesday.

Othman Raja who was at consulate told Arab News that the rains had disrupted the section’s connection with Islamabad.

Raja said due to the rain, the whole area was closed and there was no way to go in and come out safely. As a result the consulate closed about noon and people were told to go home.
