JUBAIL: Children of all age groups may look forward to spending quality time during the summer vacation as 32 programs have been launched by the Social Services Department at the Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ).

The programs, which will continue until Sept. 7, include photography forum, summer imprint for secondary and high school students. Knowledge time, swimming basics, techniques of football, volleyball, basketball, billiards and tennis are being organized for primary school students. Karate, jet skiing and taekwondo is open to all age categories.

There will also be youth football, a program entitled “I have changed in Ramadan,” Eid gifts for children, programs for patients, volunteers and water games, third Jubail bowling championship, in addition to an inspiring ideas program for college and institute students.

The events are being hosted at several centers and halls at the RCJ, including the community service center, educational activities center, Knowledge and Creativity Center, Jalmoudah entertainment center, Al-Huwaylat Entertainment Center, Al-Fanateer Entertainment Center, in addition to Jubail Charity Association, RCJ Hospital, Marine Club, Al-Fanateer beach and conference hall, and Al-Huwaylat theater.

The RCJ has been organizing such events during summer holidays to achieve social communication and entertainment for residents and visitors.

Jubail Industrial City is a significant tourist destination because of its recreational and other services, beaches, beautiful green parks and advanced infrastructure.
