JUBAIL: The Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) plans to start fining litterbugs, vandals and other offenders on the city’s beaches and parks from May 19.

The commission called on citizens and residents to abide by the law. Fines and other penalties would be determined by the landscaping and irrigation department at the RCJ, it said.

Offenses include setting up sails and tents, starting fires on green spaces, playing ball and fishing in banned places, removing weeds and small trees, driving cars on landscaping, littering, bringing along pets, driving motorcycles, smoking shisha and playing loud music.
